Indications

Highly effective insecticide and acaricide against fleas and ticks for use in canines. Reduces the ectoparasite load in the pet’s environment. For the control of fleas in cases of FAD (flea allergy dermatitis) and infestation by Dipylidium caninum. Treatment of mites causing sarcoptic, demodectic and otodectic mange.

Spectrum of activity: Ctenocephalides felis, Ctenocephalides canis, Amblyomma spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor spp., Demodex canis, Sarcoptes scabiei var. canis, Otodectes cynotis

Administration method

Oral administration. It is recommended to administer when the dog is feeding or near feeding time.

Un comprimido palatable con 500 mg de Fluralaner para perros con pesos mayores de 10 kg a 20 kg de peso.

Para pulgas y garrapatas se recomienda la aplicación del producto cada 90 días, este periodo puede variar de acuerdo al grado de infestación, circunstancias ambientales, etc., consulte al Médico Veterinario para el correcto uso de este producto.

Usage limitations and precautions

Do not administer to dogs weighing less than 2 kg or puppies younger than two months of age. Do not administer in cases of hypersensitivity to any of the product’s components. Use with caution in dogs with a history of epilepsy. Allow an interval of at least 2 months before re-administering the product. No reports of interaction with other commonly used medications. Most animals do not develop adverse effects, including dogs with MDR1 gene mutation; it is generally well-tolerated. Some dogs may show gastrointestinal signs such as loss of appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea after administration; other signs like lethargy, tremors, incoordination, or seizures are very rare. The mentioned signs are transient and disappear without the need for treatment.

Precautions for the person administering the producto

Wash hands with soap and water after administering the product. Avoid handling if known to be hypersensitive to any of the product’s components. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a doctor immediately, having the container with the corresponding information at hand.

Storage and disposal

Store in its original container, in a dry, cool, and ventilated place (do not store at a temperature higher than 30ºC), protected from direct sunlight, out of reach of children and domestic animals. Dispose of containers and leftovers according to current regulations in the country for veterinary products. Uruguay: dispose of containers at the nearest collection center.
