Dry Period

Formula:

Each 5 g injector contains:

Rifaximin…………………..100 mg

Excipients q.s.ad.………1 injector

Indications:

• For treatment of sub- clinical mastitis during the drying period.
• Effective action against microorganism Gram and Gran – as Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. (Including strains resistant to penicillin ), Corynebacterium spp. and E. coli.

As a preventive of infectious processes during the drying period and post-partum acute mastitis.

Withdrawal period

Meat and milk: 0 days.

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients.

Apply only after the last milking previous to the drying. Do not apply on females during the lactation period.

Route of administration:

Intrammamary route.

After the complete milking of the udder and immediately previous to the drying, immerse the udder into disinfectant and dry them individually.

Apply the content of the syringe by the nipple channel and massage softly upward to facilitate the product dispersion.

The use of this product is recommended after the sensitive test and the bacteriological diagnosis of the causative microorganism or based on the dairy farm epidemiological characteristics.

Dosage:

One injector (5g) per mammary quarter.
