Clostridial vaccine

Composition:

Purified toxoids of:

Clostridium novyi tipo B ≥ 500 DLM /Ml

Clostridium perfringens tipo D ≥ 200 L /mL

Clostridium perfringens tipo C ≥ 200 L /mL

Clostridium septicum ≥ 100 DLM/mL

Clostridium sordellii ≥ 500 DLM/mL

Integral anacultures of:

Clostridium chauvoei ≥ 8 µL packed cells

Clostridium haemolyticum ≥ 0.4 UH/mL

Excipients:

Aluminium hydroxide 10 % v/v

Saline solution (NaCl  0.85 % w/v) q.s. dose

Thimerosal 0.5 mg / dose

Indications for use:

Vaccine for the prevention of Hemorrhagic Gastritis, Gas Gangrene, Pulpy Kidney Disease, Necrotizing Infectious Hepatitis, Bacillary Hemoglobinuria, Sudden Death and Symptomatic Anthrax.

Target species:

Bovine, ovine and caprine.

Withdrawal period:

Do not slaughter animals for human consumption before 25 days post-vaccination.

Route of administration:

Subcutaneous route.

Dosage:

Bovine: 5 mL

Ovine and caprine: 3 mL

Vaccinate and revaccinated at an interval of 28-30 days, and revaccinate with a single dose

annually.

It can be vaccinated animals from two months old.

Conservation:

2°C – 8°C. DO NOT FREEZE.
