Thixotropic formula

Formula:

Each 100 mL contains:

Ivermectin                                             3.5 g

Excipients q.s.ad.                            100 mL

Indications:

Treatment, control and prophylaxis of infections for gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasites, as well as ectoparasites for lice, mange, bernes and ticks.

The product has a mechanism of prolonged and equilibrated absorption and prolonged efficacy (thixotropic formula), that eliminates the indicated parasites and prevent new infestations for long periods (prophylactic effect).

Target species:

Bovines.

Withdrawal period:

The waiting period in the meat for consumption is 135 days (time and administrative waiting).

Do not use in lactating females whose milk is intended for human consumption.
Do not use in females 135 days before calving.

Route of administration:

Parenteral, by subcutaneous injection in lax skin areas.

Dosage:

Shake for at least one minute before dosing and maintain the agitation with a certain periodicity during dosages.

Recommended dose: * 1 mL every 50 kg of live weight.

The thixotropic formulation contains 3.5% of Ivermectin, which provides a dose of 700 mcg. of Ivermectin per kg. of live weight.

Interval between doses:

According to Veterinarian’s discretion, to the product instructions and the degree of environmental infestation.

A single application is enough to combat psoroptic infestations; and if necessary repeat at the discretion of the veterinarian’s discretion.
