Internal injectable parasiticide

Ricobendazole…………… 15 g

Excipients q.s.ad……. 100 mL

Indications

Internal parasiticide of broad spectrum and triple action (adult, immature and ova) against gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes.

Withdrawal period

Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption, until 14 days after treatment.
Milk: 36 hours (3 milkings).

Route of administration

Subcutaneous injection.

Dosage

1 ml per 42 kg of body weight (equivalent to 3.57 mg per kg b.w. of Ricobendazole) for the following types of parasites: Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, Strongyloides, Oesophagostomum, Chabertia, Neigeria, Dyctiocaulus and tapeworms.

In Ostertagiasis inhibited: 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight (equivalent to 7.5 mg per kg b.w. of Ricobendazole).

Equal or more than 10 mL should be applied in more than one inoculation site.
